Head to the Download page and grab the latest version for your operating system. Install it like any other application - no special configuration required during installation.
Open the client, navigate to the Profiles section, and paste your subscription link. The client will download and parse the configuration, populating your node list automatically. Most providers supply this link via their dashboard.
Go to the Proxies tab and pick a node from the list. You can choose manually, or enable the URL test / fallback mode to let Clash automatically select the fastest available server based on latency testing.

The Clash Meta core was later renamed to mihomo. Today, most actively maintained clients (Clash Verge Rev, FlClash, Clash Nyanpasu) use mihomo as their core engine. When people say "Clash Meta" today, they are usually referring to mihomo.
